Very rare. One of 500 copies. This is a catalogue of the exhibition which was held in autumn of 1922 and it had a numbered list of 160 works sorted by artist (among them Aronson, Kharlamov, Troupyansky, Kustodiev, Brubel’ and others). Each work has a title and technique, there is a address for each artist. The catalogue also includes information on two posthumous exhibitions of Alexander Beklemishev (short bio and list of 19 works) and Gugo Zaleman (short bio and list of 33 works).
RABIS or Sorabis (Union of Art Workers) was a professional creative union formed in 1919 in Moscow. It was a first creative union of the country and it united many small existing unions like Actors’ Union, Musicians’ Union, etc. (including Sculptors’ Union). RABIS, Sorabis and then Vserabis united all art workers ‘‘on the voluntary commencements’’.
