This monthly magazine, devoted to ceramics, porcelain, glass, refractory materials, etc., was published in 1921-1924. Since 1923, the cover design was produced by Alexander Rodchenko. Despite fact that he started to sign his works with monogram RA at that time, this cover has a full signature of his last name. This edition is evidence of the time when Rodchenko had just been attracted to industrial design and widespread constructivist ideas. As classics of him, this design shows symmetry, balance and vertical medium axis in the composition of products made of silicate minerals and title above it. The previous cover designs were produced by an unknown artist who created seven avant-garde headpieces for this issue. The text is also illustrated with photographs and technical drawings.

Worldcat doesn’t track this edition.
