First edition. The main theoretical work of the Soviet architect Alexander Rozenberg (1877-1935), famous for his work in St. Petersburg and Tallinn. He has written a number of important works on the theory of architecture, including ‘The Philosophy of Architecture’ (1923) and ‘The Basics of Designing the Architectural Constructions’ (1930).
