One of the rarest Rodchenko/Stepanova albums due to the small run of copies. First ever constructivist album on Arctic.

This edition is dedicated to the famous expedition North Pole-1 on the first Soviet manned drifting station in the Arctic ocean. For 234 days, Papanin's team carried out a wide range of scientific observations in the near-polar zone, until taken back by the two icebreakers. It was the first expedition of its kind in the world.
