Otherwise a good copy.

An interesting fiction story of a 16-years old Russian boy traveling from Vladivostok to America in search of a new better life. He
comes to San-Francisco from Vladivostok, travels across the country, goes to Chicago and back to San-Francisco in a search for a job. The comment of an American met by the main character on his journey:"You, my young friend, are lacking energy, our American persistence which is essential if you want to live here. Here a man depends only on himself and hopes for himself only... Americans got their freedom not from revolution or laws but they achieved it by working hard''.
