Very rare, one of 1000 copies. This is the catalogue for the exhibition held in 1925 by a short-term association of young artists called ‘Ob’edinenie’ or Obis. The group united painters, graphic artists, sculptors, set designers, designers. In the beginning of 1925 their exhibition opened at GIM halls in Moscow with some avant-garde participants - Bruni, Miturich, Khlebnikova, Sandomirskaya and others (overall 109 artists and 737 works). The catalogue divided into sections (paintings, sculpture, graphics, production), each sorted by artists, all works numbered.
The group did not have any common ideological or aesthetic platform: many participants were members and exhibitors of other creative associations (“4 Arts”, “Zhar-tsvet”); subsequently participated in the exhibitions of the Moscow group of artists “Assembly”, the association “Art to Socialist Construction” and others. The exhibition was restrained by artistic criticism; a number of art periodicals did not respond to it at all. Nevertheless, a group was formed at the exhibition, which soon formed into the Society of Russian Sculptors (1925).
