Extremely rare first edition. THIS IS THE VERY FIRST BOOK IN GEORGIAN DEDICATED TO GEORGE WASHINGTON (1732-1799).
Published in 1891, the edition traces the life of the political leader, from the early childhood and education to the last days of his life. The text was translated by N. Barnabishvili and printed by the noted Georgian literary critic, historian, and book publisher Zakaria Chichinadze (1854-1931).
