This copy was sent with a typewritten invitation letter to someone Rodionov, offering him to take part in the 1952 conference to discuss an upcoming fundamental edition on Soviet cinematography.
This program contained a draft version of structure this edition might have had, including all topics and their sequence. The complete three-volume edition ‘Essays on History of Soviet Movies’ was issued in 1956-1961. It was compiled by film historians of the Institute of Art History of the Academy of Science. Among them (and compilers of this program) were well-known specialists Nikolai Lebedev, Iosif Dolinskii, Grigorii Chakhir’ian, Rostislav Iurenev and others.
