This book was written by meteorologist of the expedition on Malygin icebreaker in search of famous Umberto Nobile's expedition airship Italia and its crew. Book has 5 photos and a map of Nobile's flights and Malygin's and Krasin's routes. The author also describes how Malygin was the first ship to reach 79th parallel north and research works done on the ship were very valuable for Arctic science.
