The soviet poster for the notorious film by Michael Curtiz. It was ‘one of three pro-Soviet films made in Hollywood’ by The House
Committee on Un-American Activities. Although at that time the film was made USA and USSR were allies in early 1950s, the creators were called up to Congress to explain why such film was made.
The film was the first Hollywood picture shown to Soviet audience in movie theatres. Only few films were shown during 1943-1945 before the relationship between two countries became hostile again.

Extremely rare. Only 3500 posters were printed as the film screening was limited.
