Fragile survivor of time.
An illustrated advertisement for a warehouse of English footwear run by Russian emigrants in Harbin. According to the leaflet, this store was located in the Pier district. In the late 19th century, the Pier district was settled first as the closest to the Songhua River.
The leaflet offered footwear for women, men and children of various materials but certain sizes. It is also a source on shoe models that were common among Kharbin Russian residents at that time.
