Extremely rare first edition of Lomonosov’s epic poem about Peter the Great. Complete with the dedication leaf to Ivan Ivanovich Shuvalov, the curator of Moscow University at the time (which was found 5 years prior to this publication). The poem consisted of two songs and wasn’t finished. However it played the significant part in the creation of literary cult of Peter the Great in Russian poetry.
