Designed by E. Klodt. ‘Vsya Moskva’ was a reference book that existed in this format in 1989—1994. The idea behind it was to revise the tradition of the same directories printed in 1920—1930s by the Soviet government. Like the previous literation, this one includes the information on the businesses of the capital as well as the maps, the advertisements, the details on media of Moscow, the government and economy as well as transport, legal and service section. A separate section is called ‘International Moscow’ and dedicated to the international business affairs. All in all it’s a fascinating insight of the business life in the city that was shaking off the Socialist past and embracing capitalism: the chapter on banks goes next with thethe chapter on casinos and night-clubs (of which the one called ‘Zolotoy Ostap’ appears to be particularly welcoming). In the media section one can learn that there were 30 media correspondent bureaus from USA in Moscow at the time, of which now remains 0. A great insight into the life of the city in changing times.
