First edition. The main theoretical work of the Soviet architect Alexander Rozenberg (1877—1935), famous for his work in Saint-Petersburg and Tallinn. He has written a number of important works on the theory of architecture, including ‘The philosophy of architecture’ (1923) and ‘The basics of projecting the architectural constructions’ (1930).
