The photo book is dedicated to the five year anniversary of People’s Respublic of China and the trip that Pravda photo correspondent took the same year. Dmitriy Baltermants (1912-1990) was one of the best known Soviet official photographers of the 1940s-80s. He has captured some of the most iconic shots of WWII from the Soviet side. His
personal photo exhibitions were held in London and New York in the 1960s.
