A small and curious album published on the eve of premier of the grandiose bibliographical work by V. Adariukov and N. Obolianinov, ‘The Dictionary of Russian lithographed portraits’ (1916). Reflecting the first century of lithography in the Russian Empire, the authors listed people on portraits and noticed some not identified works. This book of 24 undetermined portraits was a kind of request for feedback of readers who might know these persons.
