Very rare. The first edition of this Armenian folktale.

Stepan Lisiciani (1865-1947) who adapted it for this book was an important figure for Armenian culture. Working as a teacher he also dedicated a lot of his time to ethnography. He was the founder of the first Armenian gymnasium in Tbilisi, later he wrote the textbook Lusaber. It was used in schools to learn Armenian language till 1960s. In 1924 he moved to Erevan where he founded Armenian Geographical Society.
