Cover design by the Ukrainian artist Illarion Pleshchinskii who contributed to Kazan avant-garde art in the early 1920s.
One of the earliest post-revolutionary works by art historian Petr Dul’sky (1879-1956) who dedicated his life to Kazan art and nurtured the phenomenon of Kazan book design. This brochure presents how the classical architecture had appeared in Kazan in the late 18th century and then became unseparated part of city style.
