All cards from the “Russian Proverbs and Sayings” pack are divided into four triangular pieces. Each piece has its own number written in the central corner.
The rules are the following:
A full set of 36 cards is shuffled and dealt face up in six rows of six columns (as shown in example 1.1).
Look for the matching pieces that make up a whole image (as shown in example 1.2).
Look for a corresponding number in the fortune-telling interpretations booklet (#31 as shown in example 1.2).
Each number in the booklet has four subcategories (1,2,3,4).
a. If the picture is in the straight position, choose the subcategory #1 (as shown in example 1.2).
For instance, the fortune-telling interpretation of the picture 1.2. is the following:
31. Love, fire and a chough cannot be hidden.
1. You love has been revealed.
b. If the picture is upside down, choose the subcategory #2.
c. If the picture is rotated to left, choose the subcategory #3.
d. If the picture is rotated to right, choose the subcategory #4.
5. You cannot move the cards, however, flipping them in order to make up a whole image is allowed.
