The book lists overall 100 exhibits, including paintings, drawings, sculpture (location for each work is indicated). As a foreword, the whole article on Vrubel’s art by historian Alexander Ivanov (1876-1933) is printed connecting periods with works’ numbers placed on margins. The text is illustrated with 7 reproductions, including selfportrait and portraits of wife, opera singer Nadezhda Zabela-Vrubel. Some bibliographic information, six quotes of art by Vrubel and five quotes about him are included as well.
